We desperately need a building for our organization to operate from. We currently perform all operations from within our own homes. This, of course, is an impratical way to maintain the organization. This is why we need some GENEROUS DONATIONS. Donate now
We are in need of Pet Food. Any dog food or cat food can be dropped off with the Bank of the Carolinas in Lexington. All donations are GREATLY appreciated.
Avon Representative, Julie Pingley has set up an Avon sales event on her website, and 10% of all sales conducted through this site portal will be donated to the Humane Society of Davidson County. Details are available on Julie's website.
Each year we provide financial help for the sterilization of hundreds of animals. We can pay 25-50% of the cost of the operation, based on the owner's annual income. We will pay 100% of the spay/neuter cost, if you qualify under NC law. For more information regarding Spay and Neuter Services contact: Becky Everhart
In some cases, we may be able to help with emergency veterinary care for sick or injured animals.
When we organized, we realized that many people desperately needed veterinary care for their pets, but could not afford it. So, we began a very small sick-injure program as an answer for extreme situations, in which the animal's owner has entered severe financial hardship, and cannot manage to provide the necessary care for the animal in question. When funds are available, each case submitted will be reviewed for feasibility.
